Connecting to the "Eduroam" Wi-Fi
In order to connect to the "eduroam" Wi-Fi at ZMT, an active ZMT account is required. Please note that by connecting to Eduroam, only internet access is provided. Access to network drives, printers, or other services of the ZMT IT infrastructure is not possible from this Wi-Fi segment.
With Wi-Fi turned on (the device must be disconnected from the network cable), open the Wi-Fi signal strength icon in the taskbar with a LEFT CLICK, then in the list displayed, select the "eduroam" Wi-Fi, also with a LEFT CLICK. When connecting to the Eduroam Wi-Fi, you will be prompted for your username and password (ZMT account). This authentication looks like the following for a user with the username xyz:
NAME: xyz@leibniz-zmt.de
PASSWORD: (see ZMT account form)
Alternative Path - Should the connection be rejected using the 'normal' method
If this is a ZMT device, please submit a ticket and let IT take over this step.
For private devices we cannot offer support.
