Netzwerkstörungen und Infrastrukturmaßnahmen // Network Outages and Infrastructure Maintenance

Currently, network disruptions are occurring in several buildings. The causes are not solely attributable to a potentially faulty batch of devices, but are also partly related to the existing switch infrastructure, which is prone to failures due to its age.

A concrete timeline for the complete restoration of all switches and WLAN coverage cannot be reliably provided at this time. This is due to factors such as delivery times, technical dependencies, and varying on-site conditions. The start of measures in individual buildings will be communicated separately.

Current approach:
- Removal of all affected access points (completed)
- Inspection of devices for actual defects (completed)
- Differentiation between access point and switch-related issues
- Planning a phased replacement of the switch infrastructure

The goal is to establish a reliable basis for further measures and to avoid unnecessary procurement as long as no clear fault attribution has been determined.
