To create a new entry for username + password, simply click on the + symbol.
You can enter a title for the entry, as well as the user name, password and the URL of the website.
Double-click on the URL to open the website in the browser. Then open the KeePassXC window again and click on the keyboard icon at the top or use the key combination ctrl/strg + Shift + V.
This triggers automatic input. The system jumps to the previous window/program and fills in the last selected text field.
The procedure is as follows: The user name stored under {USERNAME} is entered. Then use {TAB} to jump to the next text field, which then enters the stored input from {PASSWORD} and finally confirm with {ENTER}.
By clicking on the person, key or globe symbol, the user name, password or URL can be copied and then pasted into the desired text fields. This process can be used instead of automatic input.
